Certainly, that will come soon, I've always wanted an orbital so this week my friend is giving me his orbital to practice with. Just have to figure out which pads i need and all that good stuff, and time to throw away the autozone stuff.

Sounds good. You have some difficult cars to work with when it comes to paint correction. The paint on all of them is pretty hard. Post if you have any trouble.

I have always loved and used Meguiars products but recently I discovered UltraLuster. It's a waterless car cleaner. A quick detailer has limits, you can't use it on a filthy dirty car and the car has to be recently waxed or you'll get scratches.
With Ultraluser, the car can be dirty as heck. It soaks up the dirt into your cloth. Then you take another clean cloth to buff to a shine. I tried it on a car that hadn't been washed in weeks. I did the whole car in 20 minutes and it looked showroom new.
It's not cheap but it's worth it.
Check it out at www.ultraluster.com

Let me know if you want to try it.

Dri-z wash? Same bottles just new label.

To be honest, If you want a wash get a good car wash, !z, Optimum, Zymol, Swiss wax. They are engineered to be specific to that and only that. If you want a quality detail spray, and use it as such then you have quite a few to choose from.

Our Gloss shampoo works excellent! Our car wash will lubricate the finish to reduce scratching and also softens the water to a neutral Ph. Also leaves a nice gloss! Some of our customers will use the Gloss shampoo, rinse the car and spray Gloss Enhancer quick detailer before trying. Kills two birds with one stone!

My customers are growing. So far I've sold this ultraluster stuff to people who are like me....they love their car and keep it super clean and have tried everything. This stuff is so convenient and fast. I'll stick with it for a while.

So wait,

Now you are selling this stuff and promoting it here? Yes posting about it here is promoting it if you sell it.

I've moved away from QD after recently discovering Final Inspection. The only thing I use QD for now is washing my hands when I don't/can't touch anything inside the house.

I've found that Final Inspection doesn't leave streaks like QD does, it applies alot easier and wipes up easier as well. It also smells better, IMO. It's more expensive than QD, and either has to be ordered or bought from a auto paint supply store, but I believe it's a better product that QD.

Our Gloss enhancer is guaranteed not to streak or leave a haze! What great about our OD detailer its not temperature sensitive in hot or cold. The best value on our detailer is the 3 pak.

I have used Meguiars too it was OK but streaked.

What blows me away with Gloss its QD is how, when used
after I waxed the car with their sealant, it reshines the
car like I put on another coat of shine. Meguiars didnt
do that.

I never used Meguiars Pro Level stuff but I am finding the Gloss it stuff
for me, the DIY guy, the best stuff I have ever used. I alway bought into
the Meguiars pitch but never got the same shine I saw in the ads. Glossit
is the first where I have achieved the same shine as in the ads or posts.

I've used Meguier's 3 step polish (paint cleaner, polisher, and wax) and it is amazing. I have a black G35 which is about 5 years old but the paint looks really good for it being a 5 year old car. I would definitely recommend it!

I live in a condo building where I park in an indoor parking space, and it is VERY dusty. Ever since I got Maguiars Ulitmate QD I rarely wash my car anymore (once every 3 weeks, more like 4 weeks). It use to be once every 2 weeks. I never drive my car when it rains outside, so most of the time when it gets dirty, its from the dust. I use the Ult QD once a week with light brushing with Zymol duster. What do you guys think? Am I doing more damage here or should I quit using QD and take it back to the hand car wash every 2 weeks?

PS -- the QD is addicting!

I have not put a hose to the old SL since right after I got it in May 2007 - for clean up I have always used the Meguiar's detail sprays (both) as well as Griot's Garage Speed Shine. Anything heavier than a slight layer of dust and I use the Griot's waterless car wash spray or Freedom NoH20. Every since I spent $$$$$$ having the rust repaired, I'm paranoid about water on the old "schlachtross" [war horse ] I'm no pro, but I think the pros would agree with me in that the quality of microfiber cloth and how you care for them has a LOT to do with how your QD of choice performs.
