Link's Detailing work, G35 Diamond Graphic Metallic color

hi, this is a Honda Civic 3dr. 1996 with Diamond Graphite Metallic. In this thread I'm going to share how I detail my car. Since I'm a short person, I have to take several steps, day be day, and panel to panel. It might be a long process, but at least the job is done...

Part one, I notice my roof is soaking up water so it's time to work on my roof top. The results, I'm very satisfied from 1z Glanz Wax.

Things used:

Adam's Detail Spray
Swissvax Paint Rubber
EINSZETT(1Z) Glanz Wax
Uber Red MF Towels
Griots Applicator Pads

before waxing the Spoiler and rubber

After rubber the spoiler

Waxed the Spoiler

roof before rubber

roof after rubber

roof waxed

amoter waxed shot

The water beads up from the rain due to protection from Glanz. This the results I want because it shows that it protects my paint value. btw it rain the day after I waxed the roof. Lucky huh? IPHONE SHOT

Hi guys, I want to work on my carbon fiber hood, but I don't know which wax work good for the job. Does anyone have any idea what wax I can use on a carbon fiber hood? I want something that makes it shine with depth to it. I wax thinking of just using my Glanz, but I'm not sure if it safe. It have clear boat on the hood, just don't know if it's safe.

Sorry, guys, I forgot about working on my hood and today, I finally did it.

My hood been pretty bad condition, since I bought it, I haven't wax, and polished yet. Today, I set aside some time for me to work on the hood and here is the results.

Things I used:
-Klasse All in One
Swissvax Paint Rubber
Adam's Detail Spray
Griots(My step two pad).
2 of "Uber" Detail D. MF towels

Before doing anything. Very bad crap on it.

before anything closed up.

closed up again.

Even I wipe down the hood with shampoo and detail spray, It's still dirty.

This is after Rubber.

after rubber. Its much more smooth as I run my hands down the hood. I don't feel and sand like feeling on the hood, that tells me that it's smooth and clean. Rubber your paint is an very important step before wax or acrylic basing your surface. If you don't rubber, then you will just covering things up with it. Kind of like when people sweep the floor and sweep under the carpet to hide it.

After Klasse treatment. Wow, the result is outstanding. I can't believe how well my hood came out. The depth and shine of the hood really came out. The Carbon Fiber starting to show more from the clear coat. I ran my hands down and gosh.. it's like a clean shiny shield on my car.

Finished shot

This shot is my favorite because by comparing to the photo before klasse treatment of this closed up shot, this one have more detail such as more shine an depth to it. I feel like I'm looking at a very clear mirror.[img][/img]

I recently detail my hood last weekend. This time, I use Swissvax, Saphir after I rubbered down with Swisssvax Paint Rubber. I actually did a Cleaner Fluid too.
