CONTEST: C0ckpit Premium

Alton Brown is my hero. He is what I aspire to be, a true master of his
craft. He has more than skill in his chosen field, he has seemingly
boundless knowledge. The guy knows everything.

Alton is a fan of many things. Fried Turkey, Salt Domes, flame painted
mixers, and my personal favorite, "multi-tools;" things that have more than
one purpose. That is the point of this contest.

C0ckpit Premium is one of a very small handful of products that we use on
literally every car we do. Details, washes, no matter what, we use it. It
has become as indispensable as wheel or glass cleaner.

Even more than that, it is a product with almost universal appeal. We are
far from the only guys out there to sing the praise of this particular
product, it is almost universally known and accepted as the interior wipe
down and light conditioner of choice.

But, like all awesome products it is useful beyond the normal spectrum of
stuff described on the bottle. Does your wife steal your car care products
for stuff inside the house? Do you keep finding your good glass towels
being put to use on bathroom mirrors or your interior cleaner to remove
stains from the couch?

This contest is here to celebrate the many uses that we find for our car
care products. Each couple weeks we will pick a particular product,
highlight a few of its fantastic extra uses, and give you guys the
opportunity to chime in with the best stuff out there. On our podcast every
other week, we will review some of our favorite submissions and pick a
winner. The winner gets a free bottle of the product chosen for that week
and a T-Shirt. We are kicking the contest off with one of my favorite products, C0ckpit Premium.

Other than being used for every car we work on, I like to use it
to clean my phone and my laptop. It removes all oils and other smudges from
my iPhone, cleans the keyboard on my laptop with ease and keeps the screen
free from all smudges and dust. So going beyond the normal, I still use it
almost every day inside the house just like I do on all of our cars.

What great uses do you have for C0ckpit Premium? The more creative, the
better.

Thanks for Playing!

It may not be the most creative use, but I've used some CP I got from a fellow MB club member to keep our new computer desk clean. It's some of that home-office furniture from one of the office supply chains that's not real wood, and the CP works really well on the vinyl or whatever simulated wood-grain covering they use. I think that continued use will keep it looking new and finger-print free. (it works great in the cars, too. )

^^ That is actually a really good use for it. It will help to remove the dust, but it doesn't leave the surface oily which is awesome too.

I know a lot of people have issues finding something that is safe to clean their flat screen tvs with, C0ckpit Premium works great for that as well.

+1 for ****pit Premium. I use this amazing product frequently and I'm very pleased. The finish after using this product is matte.

Another use: I tried some on the plastic trim of one of my aquariums. The trim tends to fade and get water-spotted, especially around the top where the lid allows some evaporation. Mineral deposits can build up around the top edges and it's a PITA to remove because you can't use any type of spray cleaner, because any overspray will get into the water. Some CP on a microfiber worked really well to clean things up and make all the black plastic trim on the tank look good.

I have receieved compliments on the condition of my interior trim from many friends, and each one of them are now hooked on c0ckpit as well. Great product, exceptional value.

I use it (lightly) to keep almost all electronics in the "man cave" showroom clean. Can't have anything compromise the weekend entertainment wether it be the big game or F1.

I've used it to clean all my electronics around the house, it works great on the receiver, & Big Screen. It also works great in the kitchen on all of our Stainless Steel appliances. Love it on the BBQ grill.

It has been my glass cleaner for a while now, love it! Key is to buy the 10l bucket of it!
