New Porsche 911 CS Correction.

I got a call from my customer telling me he just got a new 911 CS and asked me to take a look at it, I guess to my surprise I got a pretty swirled/hologram imperfect new 911! It always surprises me that dealers selling cars can do this, I feel its the dealers' job to present a perfectly prepped new car to a customer in fact they should do this for pre-owned cars as well.

Enough ranting, here is the write up.

What was done -
Exterior

- Wheels were prepped with Sonax Wheel Cleaner and cleaned up with various brushes
- Tires were spritzed down with P21S Total Autowash and washed down
- Wheel wells were spritzed down with P21S Total Autowash
- Wash down and rinsed
- Door jambs were cleaned up
- Clayed
- Dried
- Paint inspected and measured
- Wheel Wells were cleaned and dressed
- Tires dressed
- Masking
- 3 Step Paint correction (Meguiars M105 with an Uber Yellow, Menzerna Super Intensive Polish with an Uber Green and Menzerna PO85RD with an Uber Blue)
- Inspection with Fenix, 3m Sun Gun, Infratech, and natural sunlight
- Last Step - Menzerna Power Lock
- Rubber and Plastics Treated
- Exterior windows and mirrors cleaned and sealed
- Exhaust tips cleaned
- Engine Cleaned up and dressed

It looks brand new now, but before it looked like it had 40K on it.

 

The engine compartment alone looked like it had years of build up. Good work Phil.

 

Looks great Phil. Can't believe the condition it was in. You should charge the dealer, dealer prep! I'm sure the owner is happy to finally pick up his "new" 911
