Paint Protection Film
Why is it nobody mentions Clear Shield? My installer swears by this stuff. He says it is one of the clearer/brighter films on the market and it hold up well. My installer is also one of the best installers in this area and come HIGHLY recommended by both 3M and XPel representatives.
I think it is made by Bekaert Specialty Film LLC.

Where are you located?
Clear Shield is not a good film. I tried installing it once and was very disspointed in the quality of the film. Avery Nano Fusion is the best all around film out there currently. Avery testing it out and installing it on numerous vehicles I wouldn't recommend anything else.
Trey font tell me your still installing Jim's AeroGard film. It's notmade or automobiles and 3M will tell you they do not recommend it for commercial purposes... not to mention they will not warranty it. I found thy out first hand through Jim.

My only complaint is on big flat surfaces like the hood you can see some minor OP. The bumper you cannot even tell it is on the car.
Trey the problem with AeroGard is that the adhesive is much to strong to apply to painted surfaces. I have seen it life paint numerous times... even lift the coating on a new Viper headlight. Another local installer still uses it and everytime he has to replace it out there are serious issues. I highly recommend NOT using it on cars... just as 3M Aerospace Division recommends not using it for commercial purposes... and sticking with films that were actually designed for the automotive industry... not aerospace use. 3M develops the film and Jim buys it through back channels and rebrands it. WHEN issues arise he does not stand behind the warranty... I have experienced this first hand.
If we are looking it and Avery Nano Fusion films side by side the Nano Film hands down looks better and is backed by a warranty that can be relied on. I just do not understand why anyone would even mention AeroGuard in an automotive forum.

If so, I saw his blue z and the orange peel was horrendous.
