Mom-in-laws car never waxed in 6 years.(although I offerd)
I tried boh the Mothers & Meguiar system and I cannot get these spots out- I even tried Meguiars #66 medium cut.
I wonder if it's from touch-up paint?

^^what they said... try taking a picture in the dark with flash on, or outside, with no reflections and with lots of light, preferably somewhat direct sunlight

Can you feel the spots at all? Do they look like they're below the clearcoat?

I've often found bird crap to be etched into the clear to the point where it can't be removed... you can't feel anything, but you can surely see it... it might be that...
