Scud stripe swap
The client wanted to have the factory gold/white stripes removed and replaced with grey/black ones. Also, gray wheels are on their way as well as 50% carbon tint. Let me tell you, it is a MAJOR PIA to remove the original stripes. Enjoy guys.

These were not from the factory. From what I understand, the customer has the option.

The challenge was that the glue was stronger than the actual material. We tried warming it up gently with a heat gun as well as an infrared lamp. In some places the film came off easily, in some places not.

No, it came from Italy . Sorry, couldn't resist. Honestly, I don't know. The car came here on a flatbed and the owner is out of the country. I'll find out.

I'm pretty sure i know the car. it was actually a dealer mistake.was supposed to have stripes but the order went in without stripes and were put on locally after it arrived. the car was purchased back by the dealer and a new one with stripes was ordered. not an option to have the stripes on top of the clear coat.

Looks great, Matt.
Is the owner the 2nd owner? Why weren't the gray stripes/wheels ordered from the factory? What brand of tint are you going to use? Which adhesive remover did you use once the silver stripes were removed?
