When will it be possible to buy a Ferrari at list pr without being a prior customer?

Scuderia F is on a distinguished road
I have a 430 coming very early next year and I got it for nearly MRSP, despite the fact that it was my first new Ferrari that I bought. Owned two 360's prior to this however. All bought from the same dealer.

Thanks for the referral. I spoke with Bill at Stewart's Ferrari of Denver who is a really nice guy. Other than being the wrong color and wrong body style, his car is perfect for me (his black spyder vs. my red coupe)! Plus I live in the Northeast, not near Denver. But to stay on topic, some dealers seem to be willing to sell new cars at MSRP (not speaking for Ferrari of Denver, call them if you are curious) which should make the price of lightly used cars much more reasonable.

I am a watch guy and buy/sell many high end Patek, which would easily cost the same as a used 07 430. We used to sell all of the sought after models way above MSRP, now, the dealer have to offer nice discount to move their stock.

Discount on sought after Pateks that usually need to wait for 2-3 years was never nevr heard off, until lats 60days. Now, anything can happen.

Just a few months ago I would have to wait at least 1,5 year for a Scuderia. Now my deler where I bough the V8 Vantage this year offers me second quarter 09 delivery. It may be even March if the factory confirms, to they have to be under pressure and the orders are cut!

if you want a new 430 at MSRP, PM me, and I will give you a contact at a Ferrari Dealer.

I've been communicating with (5) dealers in my neighborhood on new F430's but haven't been able to find one... all of them claim to be sold out of new ones but have many used ones. They are trying to get me to buy a used one with the promise of selling me a new 2010 Ferrari at MSRP when I want to trade up. Other dealers, outside of my territory, will not sell a NEW car to me!

FNA doesn't allow selling over MSRP, as far as I know. This comes from the dealers themselves and is why you see a "used" 2008 with 50 miles b/c then all bets are off. It's one of the oldest games some dealers play. Even if they have an allocation, they are going to tell you they don't if they've got 1 or more similar true used cars similar to what you are looking at sitting there. They know that the odds of some other dealer selling you a new one is very slim, due to territory protection, so they figure you'll ultimately cave and take their used one. Worst-case is their new one shows up and then they sell it. The great equalizer right now is of course the economy and credit, as Ferrari owners tend to be a bit more tied in to the stock market than other super exotic owners (also true of Lambo, probably more-so). Given you live in the NE, where weather becomes a factor as well and it's also the holiday season, not a lot of product will move. Your best bet is to find a car in inventory at some F-dealer somewhere in the country, and I'm sure they are there. Once they have something that your local dealer does not, i.e. color, model, etc., I don't think it's forbidden for them to sell. You might be able to order one at MSRP also, given the right climate which is just about upon us.

You can buy a brand new 430 for MSRP at almost any dealer outside the US... You can even buy a Scuderia for MSRP outside the US...delivery time is 4-6 months....
