any "regular working guys" own a 360

I'm just saying that's about as high of a model I can afford at this time....

I just read this entire thread... very interesting. A few days ago I was pondering the thought of trading my ZR1 in for a used F430. I doubt I'll do it because I'm having a hard time justifying higher cost of maintenance. I can afford it, but at this point in time there's better things for me to spend my money on (says the guy who bought a $100K chevy lol).

As great as Ferraris are, they're still just cars. If it will affect your life style by buying one, then it's not worth it. The cost of ownership is not cheap, and these cars deserve regular maintenance to run properly. On the other hand, if you can own one without breaking a sweat, there is nothing like it.

Good for you! Those who have bought 360s recently, would you be willing to share what you paid for your cars? Just trying to get a sense of where the market is, especially for nice low mileage examples of 360 coupes and spiders.
Considering trading in my 612 for either a 360 or a 430. Might be time for a change!

honestly never heard of it... are they expensive?
what is the pecking order for ferrari?
360, 430, 599, 459, enzo?
could anyone list the most popular Fcars with their usual prices? (just want an idea of what they run, for example put a usual used price for the 430 and 360 since there are alot sold pre-owned)
what other populars am i missing?

I'm a regular working guy as well. I was ruined when I bought a 911SC in college and got the bug for nice cars. I've owned M3's and Merc AMG's. I can almost quote every performance statistic out there for sports cars. It's a curse lol. I think I am going to come full circle and try and swing the 997TT soon. I could never swing the Ferrari. Would love too though. I'm 44 now. I have a wife and 2 girls-one in college, and live in the standard 3500 Sq foot house. Like the OP, I am saving my pennies for a substantial down payment and turn the car into the price of buying a used Hyundai. That's the only way I can justify it with the wife Of course, I have to lay the groundwork first by buying her a new vehicle and upping the ante a bit. Hopefully I can talk her into buying a geo metro so more money for me hehhe joking....the other soccer moms have her wanting a freakin' Range Rover. ugh... Wish me luck

A "USED" 997TT I mean.
I make ~175k a year....Hourly worker...my neighbor, who is a chiropractor/MRI clinic investor, seems amazed that i can live on "so little" money. I have the smallest house in my neighborhood.
I define regular working as a guy who receives a paycheck every two weeks that Uncle Sam takes half of, has a mortgage and a few kids who are in every activity under the sun, and lives basically paycheck to paycheck with a few investments thrown in....
Side note ---> I walked in from this chiropractor's 185k pool and he showed me a credit card bill his ridiculously hot "trophy wife" had racked up that he pays off each month and it was $8900.00!!!! This is the guy who I would see owning a Ferrari, not me...

The June 2010 edition of Rosso (Japanese magazine) featured a guy who makes $30k and bought Ferrari 550, he originally had 348, but the parking garage severally damaged it.
After all the insurance deals and etc, this guys ended up buying Ferrari 550 with 84month (7 years!) auto loan!
Can you believe that? He basically got married to his car.
I still haven't got my hands on Ferrari yet. Had a few moments where I could have test drove but I refused 'til I can actually own one.

anybody can get anything, IMO, if you cant afford to fully buy it right then and there then you have no business in it.
