Ferrari 599GTB Paint Correction and Detail

Here's another 599 we did a while ago. The initial condition was typical of a car we get that has never been properly detailed. As you'll see, the exterior had quite deep scratches and imperfections that needed our TLC. The interior of this 599 also got some close attention. The leather and upholstery cleaned up pretty good. I hope you guys enjoy reading this post as much as we did working on this gorgeous Ferrari.

Initial Condition

Tires, Wheels, and Wheel Well Cleaned - 40 Minutes

P21S Gel Wheel Cleaner is dwelling. This breaks down road grimme, tar, and brake dust.

Engine Cleaned - 20 Minutes

P21S Total Auto Wash, a citrus cleaner, was used to break down, loosen, and dissolve dirt and oils in the engine bay.

Exterior Rinsed and Washed - 30 Minutes

Uhhh.....thats car **** for you right there Beautiful job.

One question though. On a few of the Final Results photos of the dash the leather seems to have some weird spots in it. Is that because of the camera?

Nice compliment

Yes: unfortunately some of pictures didn't come out right after I resized them in PS. The color of the car is a bit distorted. As for the interior, you may noticing the irregularities in the hide since the camera shot close up. Is that what you're talking about.

I used our GP Purple Foam Wool pad made by lake country. We use this whenever there are deeper scratches that we know can safely be removed with this pad.

Yeah thats what I was referring to, I am sure its not the result of your work, but was wondering whether a car that new already has irregularities in the hide? Is it maybe because its seen too much direct sunlight?.....just curiosity.

Keep up the good work

It's not any damage at all....call it nature. It's the irregularities and texture in the hide. That's what happens when you use real stuff from nature
