Ferrari California T!!

Is this is the first thread for this car? If not please take it down but I had to start a thread on this car

I don't own a ferrari or anything but I have put a fair amount of miles on a 2013 458 that my father bought and I have gotten to enjoy a fair amount. I have to say I love the car but besides the point, when I went to look at the 458 and he configured one together I was excitedly allowed to drive a original california(well I guess a 2012 model?) When I got behind it I enjoyed the drive very much but just couldn't get over that it was lacking a lot of umph, and it just kinda felt blah. Keep in mind I have driven a half decent amount of higher hp cars the car that it felt like the most to me was my dads old mercedes benz CL 55 amg. When you would punch it in that car it would just run away from just about most cars. When I got behind the California and punched it from 1-3rd even with the amazing gearbox I was just so dissatisfied, just thought it wasn't a great car and certainly not worth the massive 180k price tag for the performance. I know its a GT car but come on it should have a lot more. But wow am I excited for this next car with turbo setup!!!

Anyone else share my thoughts? What do you think about this new model now? Sell more maybe? I also am not a convertible fan but with the power and the fact its a baddass black hardtop makes it just so sexyyy

YESSSSSS!!!!!!!
My only complaint of my California before I had the 458 was it was too slow, otherwise I love the hard top convertible and I think it looks a lot sexier than the 458 with wheels and a drop.

I was wondering what I was going to get next since I just sold my 458, now I know!

Peak output is 552 horsepower and 556 pound-feet of torque, which together with a Getrag-sourced dual-clutch transmission will accelerate the California T from 0-62 mph in 3.6 seconds and to a top speed in excess of 195 mph.

I really like some of the restyle cues also. Like the headlights and some of the things. Definitely one of the best moves they made!!

Oh, I hope they put a better nav system in too. My 2013 California one was whatever... came out of a US car manufacturer supply, I forget which, Dodge or Chevy or something and the sound system was complete shiat.

I absolutely love the restyling cues and the noticeable power upgrade. I would love to get one of these in the next couple of years.

I wasn't a huge fan of the Cali before, and I don't really like the slight redesign on it. The HP and TQ bump are nice though

Like the HP and TQ bump of course. And they fixed the dreadful stacked exhaust tips!

If the navigation was the only problem. The sound system is the same used in dodge ram. I wanted to check it out since I was in the market for a new car, I couldn't believe my eyes. My Maserati had a better sound system!

I'm just wondering why would you go back from a 458, one of the highest performance sports car ever built, to a California. Interested in what compelled you to sell your 458 in first place, since obviously you didn't upgrade. Did you consider the 458 spider?
