Well my wife and I took our first long ride in car today. We drove down to Carmel, CA for a little christmas shopping and then we drove down Highway 1 down to Big Sur foe a late lunch. The Pacific Coast Higway (PCH) is one of the most beautiful and scenic roads in the world. It is also nice and curving. The car was absolutely stock to the pavement. I had it SPORT mode.

What made the trip intresting coming back was seeing a Porsche CGT pull over on a straight portion of the road in the other direction by a CHP. I think I was going around 90 when I went buy. The guy just smiled. I felt bad for him. He was just probably out for a nice drive and had his day ruined by a ticket.

BTW I got pass the mythical 620 breakin mileage period by the time we got home. Tomorrow should be fun. I have never driven a car with a 8500 redline. Can't wait to hear that throttle roar.
