A little cheesy maybe but I think it would be cool in my office.

I have a friend who bought a real F1 engine (when Renault F1 bankrupt back in the days) and put it in the entrance of his office/manufacture.
Also in my university there is a BMW engine (2004 3.0L inline 6) under glass in display with a little story next to it that says that this engine's performance was made possible due to the research of a material engineer from the faculty using an alloy as hard as steel and much lighter, etc...

Both are an awesome sight.

 

Man, what a sound. Reminds me of that guy that build a true replica working ferrari.
