Anyone interested in Orlando road trip?

I just made my reservations at the Hyatt Place for Apr. 23 arrival.
Got a room with two queen beds and a queen sofa sleeper for the wife, my 3 sons and myself for $77 plus tax (of course).
Recommend others go forward and get reservations.
And yes I asked and they do have spickets for washing your car on the premises if you desire.
What we now need to do is decide on a meeting location to leave from on Friday at say approx. 5:30 pm.

Assuming we take the turnpike up, let's meet at the Pompano Turnpike rest-stop - 5:30-5:45 OK with everyone in S. FL? It should take us about 3 hrs or so to get up that way.
Thumbs up for the spigot and car wash.

Want to pick up some food for the road? 
Hooters is OK, but we'll have to deal with Friday afternoon traffic/lights just to get on the TP - that itself could take 20 minutes. If you are coming from MIA, you should be able to hop on the TP earlier.

Good idea. Meeting at the Turnpike Pompano plaza would save city traffic time, especially on a Friday at rush hour.

Like I said, everyone should call the Hyatt and make their reservation.
btw the next day Sunday 4/25 plan to go to the Exotic Rally at Dade-Collier airstrip. The big guns are coming with Underground Racing and Heffner Racing bring their hardware.
