geez leweez has this project progressed! Simply breath taking and truly a labor of love. Having gone through an extensive remodel, the devil is in the details! Furnishing is another whole headache...i mean fun bonding experience with the wife. This house has taken on a life of it's own and looking forward to seeing it "mature"! (Makes my garage "make over" look like a weekend project) Congrats, and enjoy the process with your growing family.

This is absolutly breath taking. The textures and details of the uncomplete home are incredible. I can't wait for the day I am at this point in my life to have a build like yours. this home looks like it will be an incredible getaway from a full days work. After I punch out I would want nothing, but to come home, LOL, if I lived there.

Thank you for noticing, I really believe it all does come down to textures and details. Big is not better a friend calls it "micro architecture".

I too have the same dream but right now the damn thing is still alot of work

OK all graded in and due to pave Monday morning.

see that little lip at my garage slab? Thats how far away from driving in I am just a few inches!!

Final rock work finished as well to meet the pavement.

Just a teaser, these are some of the concrete counters and fireplace surround that we recieved today. Installed pics soon, we finished tonight but camera was having trouble.

Very nice! Are you doing anything fancy with the driveway materials?

Thaks and no, I have found that in the mountains between salt, mag chloride and snow plows they just get wasted. Plain old black top is the most durable and simple to patch over the years. Love the look of others but would hate to spend the cash and have it get ruined.
