Just another dream garage under construction, but this one is MINE!!
Glad to finally make you post!
Still have the Elise?
damn I'm trying! It is so hard to finish a project like this.
Here is the update though. The garage wainscotte is all done, so cool looking (IMHO) I could have only dreamed of a space like this years ago let alone thought I would have a garage that looked so good.
All of the custom metal work is done on the fireplaces, the steel work has been wire wheeled off and gun blued then shot with a clear coat.
Hardwood floor were stained today and carpet install started as well.
Kitchen appliance install happens tommorow.Outside the landscapers have about a thousand trenches in for irragation and of course it rained so giant mud pit. Decks are being sanded and stained, heat tape is being installed in all the gutters and areas that need protection from ice.
Every day the place is a bee hive of activity with 20 plus guys working and I think wow we got alot done, and realize each morning wow look how much more we have to go!
Target move in date is a week from Saturday, I promise more pictures soon.
Wow I love your home. I think your garage is more beautiful than my bedroom/bath.... <sigh>
I'm sorry we never got a chance to speak about building a dream home like this in the mountains -- I went through a job change and now work 3 days a week in Englewood -- its hard to decide where in the mountains I can live and still have a 45 minute commute to I25 and Englewood.
Congrats on this awesome home!

Hope the rest of the prep and the move goes well!
