OK no new pictures but some big changes, baby was born so I have not been on site for a few days. Great timing on my part build house at same time as having our first child! Now that I have met her would not change a thing.

Side note I did pick up the gt3 for that garage space!!

Some very good advice there.

Congrats on the baby and the GT3. Pics?

Incredible project. Congratulations with the GT3. I guess having a child sounds neat too.

Looking forward to more pictures. You are making really quick progress!

Thanks again the new baby girl is awesome, have not even been down to visit the new gt3 in the garage since her arrival! That says alot. Hope to get some new pics up this week though. Finally got the roof on and the stair stringer in. Just in time as we have had problably 4 plus feet of snow in the last week. Good time to book your ski trips Vail is getting hammered.

Just found this thread, very very cool ! Lots of great things happening in your life right now, enjoy them all in the best of health !

The house plan and location is wonderful, congrats ! And congrats especially on the little one, that is the best part of all. Everything else pales in comparison as you have no doubt already discovered.

OK finally under roof and closed in!

That is good because the snow just keeps comming!

We have started installing the reclaimed barnwood, this was reclaimed and imported from Austria, but not as exspensive as that might sound.

This post will take some imagination

This is the start of the wine grotto and stairs to the lower level
The steel will be cleaned up and almost have a gun blue finish and in between will be filled in with old barnwood to give the impression of an old mine shaft from below and this forms the bridge that you walk across in from the front door to the house. All the walls will be stone. and the center of the bridge will be glass. the curled steel (the one that took months to get hear) is the start of the stair stringer and will remain exsposed with floating treads. GOOD LUCK UNDERSTANDING!!
