Progress report:
Raised upstairs sprinkler main line - big improvement
1 week of taping/mudding done
Bathroom shower/floor tiled
Sanding/painting starting today


Next week:
Electrical & plumbing finish
Install water heater/utility sink/softener
Install diamond plate around perimeter (3' high)
Doors (bath/utility/deck) in
Finish stairs

Then flooring/electronics/furniture/cabinets (kitchen & bath running late).

Then it's beer time

perfect choice on the tile - exactly what I have ready to go when I start bathroom remodel in my garage in a few weeks

Thanks guys..

we originally considered a black/white themed bath, but my wife thought better of it and talked me into tile.

Relatively cheap, durable and goes with everything.

Eric - what you end up doing with the floor?

HIRISC, this is amazing. I dont know if you have ever heard of Clive Cussler (he is a fantastic author), but his main character in his novels, Dirk Pitt, lives in basically what you are are building. The only difference his that his is in an old aircraft hanger at the D.C. airport.

Anyways, ever since I read my first Dirk Pitt novel by Clive Cussler, Ive wanted to have the same type of place. It is second to none man. May you finish it and enjoy it in good health! Im sure you will!
