Thanks guys,

I like the guards cab4kw.

True Cognac, I could make them wait until I pull out, but rain, snow, etc. will get the interior wet, plus it's kinda mean- good for other peoples kids, but not mine since I really do like them.

cheap solution

I use the squares that you can piece together to put weight benches on. They sell bundles of them at Home depot really cheap and then just screw them into the wall, presto, no door or wall damage. If you want it to look a little cleaner, you can trim them down...

I use snap-together gym mats / kids playmats that I bought at Home Depot. I only needed to protect one side of my car, so I put them together in a rectangular shape and leaned them up against the wall.

It gives me about an inch of foam between the car door and the wall, and it has saved my door from abuse.

Buy a pool noodle, slice it in half, and glue it to the wall.

Dont waste your money on that stuff. Go to Toys-R-Us, and buy those foam noodles used for swimming pool fun. Take a steak knife, slice them down the middle and silicone them onto the wall. Problem solved. Or, go to home depot and buy a 1 foot by 10 foot piece of carpet. Stick that on the wall, and again, problem solved.

I have the same proble - I bought at Home Depot padding that they had for children to make big puzzles with. It came in all shapes and I cut it to fit perfectly. Doesn't look so greeat, but gets the job done.
