We very excited to release the worlds first custom flow formed wheel series manufactured by Forgestar. Over the course of the last few years the wheel market has exploded, however there is a pretty large divide from a pricing and performance aspect. Most of the cost effective wheels have 1 or 2 fitments and are heavier. Most of the forged custom wheels have infinite fitments, are lightweight and run the cost of a average mortgage payment!

Here is some info about the Flow Form Casting process, which is a hybrid of forging and casting, and is used by companies such as BBS and Enkei:

Flow Forming is a production procedure that turns the wheel (or rim section) over a special mandrel and three hydraulic rollers using tremendous pressure. The pressure and turning then force the rim area to form against the mandrel, creating the shape and width of the rim. During Flow Forming, the rim actually "flows" down to create the full rim width. During Flow Forming, pressure applied to the cast rim actually changes its mechanical properties, so its strength and impact values become similar to those of a forged rim. That translates to up to 15% less weight when compared to a standard cast wheel.

Great looking wheel. Are there any pictures on a car? What country are they manufactured in?

 

Most castings come from overseas (China) so no they are not made in the US

Will oem porsche caps fit on the F14? Is the pricing the same for the F14 regardless of size? I own a shop in Toronto Canada and would be interested in ordering a few sets if we can workout a deal.
