that being said, i want to rephrase the first sentence in my first post above. its not that the TE37 doesn't go well w/ the 996...its that small TE37's w/ too much wheel gap don't go well w/ the 996 (like the picture at the top of page 1). i have yet to see a 996 "slammed" on 18" or 19" TE37's, but i bet a picture of that would make alot of people change their minds...

nope you got it wrong martin/illm3 is correct the volks does not match the pcar or the ferrari imo
. either way, with the right size wheel accomodated by an appropriate drop in ride height, i think both cars would look killer...IMO. though i think the P-car would wear them better.

in all honesty i wish youthe best of luck with this group buy. i think people are looking at that one picture and making their final decisions right away (the first impression is usually a lasting one). but i am convinced that the TE37 could look amazing on the 996 (and even the 997) w/ the right suspension/drop/spacing. all you need is a picture(s) of that, and some people's first impressions would most likely be different.

I am working on new pics now..but if you want to see some serious road racing cars and pics... http://supergt.net/en/
great pics Vivid! i noticed that some of those 996's are sporting a 5-spoke wheel. they bare a strong resemblance to the Nismo LM GT4's (also made by Rays Engineering) that is so popular on Nissan tuner cars (R34 Skylines, 350Z, Silvias, etc.). i've never seen a 5-spoke TExx/LExx/CExx series wheel from Volk...are those strictly for racing/track use? i've never seen them advertised anywhere.
imo the volks look good on the race car with tthe flashy grapics and super wid ebody but not on a street car.. what really matters is the buyers if the buyer loves teh wheel on his car thats what it all matters..
i love my equips!
