You mention that the color is bronze (which implies to me at least having something of a brownish tinge) yet the picture looks like more of a gunmetal grey type of color. I kind of like the wheel but really ought to try and see some in person. Perhaps the next time I come to AZ.

Hey listen. I took that picture of my neighbor's car and decided not to say anything about you blatantly not giving me any credit for it in your sales pitch. Now that you think it sucks, I need you to take it down off of your ad.

Yeah, that's directed toward you, I took this picture, I don't care where you got it. You can search for it, I actually started a thread when I took the pic...

Take it off this thread and off your website too please.

Thanks.

And while the picture has been taken down, this is the thread it was originally posted in by me, nearly 2 years ago.

no wonder i couldn't find the thread when i searched...you hyphenated "TE37"!

anyways, just for your peace of mind, i don't think the picture sucks at all...its the car and the wheels i have issues w/. your picture is actually good in two ways: 1) the quality is better than 90% of the pictures posted at this site...or any other forum for that matter, and 2) you snapped it at the perfect height - it really puts the wheel gap into perspective. he must be able to go lower than that w/ the JIC's though...

I can see why people dont like the look of the TE's on the 996, for one the wheels in that pic look very small like 17'', I bet a set of 18''s or 19''s on it would look worlds better.

HAHAHA i noticed my post in there too . like i said before, first impressions usually last for quite some time. that thread was short-lived, and i hadn't yet contemplated "making" the TE37 work on a 996. but after a while i started picturing it in my head with the right ride height...and i love the mental image i'm getting! maybe i should have edited my 2-year-old post . i still maintain that that particular C4S at that particular ride height does NOT make the 996 look great on TE37's. i just saw that picture and assumed that all 996's would look that way on TE37's. its taken two years but i've finally realized that maybe someone else could make TE37's look better on his or her car than on the one in the pic we've all been shown.

i was thinking the same thing, but Vivid said that Volk only makes those wheels in 18" for Porsche. maybe they are 17's w/ an imperfect offset? there is a bit of shadow cast by the fender near the top of the tire, suggesting that the wheel is not pushed out to the edge of the fender (i.e. could maybe use some wheel spacers).
