New here, just introducing myself

Hey guys, I've been admiring your cars for a couple weeks now and thought I would introduce myself and my car. I'm in med school right now, so hopefully I will be able to join the P-car family one day

Welcome. Nice S2K. I'm also a future-P-Car owner :-)
This place is the best Porsche forum out there IMO. It's a well of knowledge and experience. Enjoy

That's a nice car to have while in med school. My first nice car was a E36 M3 when I was a 3rd year resident.

Thanks, it's a great car to help in stress relief from school. I bought it with some extra loan money that I had thanks to a partial scholarship, I thought it was worth going into debt for

Any pics of the E36? It was my dream car for a long time and I almost got that instead of the S, but I was worried about repair costs after seeing how much my mom had to pay to fix issues with her 7 series

Man, you've got that one right F-Doc. My 7series is the last E38 to come into America and the very last one off the assemby line. It cost me a small fortune to maintain at the Dealership. Just did the big 50K service and complete chasis bushings, everything, it cost me $6,500.00, but she is a keeper and they say she will be like the next 69SS Camero in value...

Sorry, that was 10 yrs ago. After E36 M3, I got the BoxsterS and E46 M3, then 996GT3, R32, and E39 M5. Now I got the 997GT3, B6 S4(daily), and Range Rover(for wife and kids). So finish school and there will light at the end of the tunnel.
