I don't think that the GT3 motor would be very receptive to turbocharging. First, it is a very high rpm motor, and to have turbo's big enough to satisfy the top end airflow of the motor, would probably cause too much lag on the bottom end of the rev range. Second, it may be a longer rod motor than a turbo motor would be (speculation), because long rod motors build compression on rising rpms...good for N/A, bad for turbos, so without those beautiful titanium rods, you don't have an 8,000 rpm motor. Plus all of the torque of a turbo motor would require stronger rods, thicker wrist pins and maybe heavier pistons, so it probably won't be able to rev much over, say 6700 rpms. Sound like a GT2 motor???

Just got this month's Excellence and they had an article on a supercharged 996 w/ loads of HP. Wonder how superchargers would work on the GT3??? I wouldn't mind another 100 horses
