Paaah!!!

With the simple addition of the Journoman Roundel it would be easy to beat the best time posted by Gemballa by at least 5 seconds...

Just ask Watt.

turbocharging the GT3 in a way defeats its purpose IMO...get a GT2 if you want a lightwieght RWD TT car...

FVD has a 600hp TT kit for the GT3 as well. Their catalog price is $58,000... For that kind of cheese I think I would sooner trade for a GT2.

It was nice to fantasize about a GT3 have 600 ponies...definately something I would not do for various reasons, although the motor could take the stresses probably better than a TT's due to the titanium conrods...I wunder if the gemballa kit is as expensive as the FVD one...

There is a Gemballa GT600 for sale in the UK. A friend of mine went and looked at, his comment says it all really.

"If that car has more than 450HP I'm Ron Jeramy!"

It's sooooo tempting to get that but why destroy one of Porsche's best engines out there. GT3 should stay all motor and if you want turbo get a GT2.

I agree with most of you...It's not good to try and screw with Mother Nature. Sorta like Melanie Grifith lips on Sunset Blvd., then again..way too many of them. ;/

The list of parts isn't very descriptive. Are they basically saying that it retrofits 996tt parts to the gt3 (996tt heads, pistons, etc) as well as other things? If so, that would be less than desirable to me.

I've been thinking and hoping, for a long time, that someone would do a turbocharger setup on a gt3. I like the n/a gt3, stock 8.2k redline and the purpose it serves. However, imagine how devastating it would be with 2 small responsive turbos, ~500+ hp and an ~8k redline!!! That would make for one serious monster on road tracks if you could keep all that power under control. I'm not too fond of Gemballa, but I'm surprised no other companies have tried FI with the gt3 before.

If you want a faster car buy a faster car.

Buy a GT2, or better still a sidewinder missile, and strap it to your roof! Only a fool would spend that much money ruining one of the best balanced cars out there.
