I was in the same dilema 2 months ago; I "settled" for a slightly used GT3 and have a deposit down for the next body style GT3 when they are released. I also had an oppurtunity to order a TT at the time and turned it down for the GT3 and haven't been happier.

If you are looking to buy new for finace options, ect. I would start looking now. I looked 3-4 months ago and couldn't find an 08 allocation anywhere.

So did you get a GT3?
Yes. Didn't think it would happen, but I was pleasantly surprised.

Hey Gang

I have this same thread on the RennTeam forum and some of its members made mention of a Mark 2 GT3 with DFI coming in 09. With that being said, I think I'm going to contact my dealer (purchased 2 cars with them already) and place a $500 deposit to reserve a build spot (If it does come to market).

If it doesn't work out, I'll just get the turbo....

What do you guys think?

don't worry, with the GT-R scaring porsche(haha yeah right) porsche may put some more power into the next GT3 or even make a more die hard one like the 996 used to be. So be patient, this could be a blessing in disguise, just keep on top of the auto world and see whats coming out and be quick to ****** it up
