Last nights Top Gear (Murci 640 matches CGT time)
Roehl did crash the prototype CGT I believe on two occasions. He then insisted on some sort of stability system and Porsche opted for TC. Had they installed PSM along with a sequential transmission, the CGT value would be substantially above where it is today.
It truly is a great car for those who can handle it. Sadly, only a handful of drivers can do so. I certainly am not.

why do you bother posting?
Your a waste of time, you only seem to post when you can bag the CGT.
I couldn't care less how long you've been a member, who you are or what car you drive. You post utter crap and it is becoming tiresome.
Go waste your time posting somewhere else.

is this wishful thinking or have you been on the track with both? Top Gears tests are usually fairly accurate.

Yeah well he crashed 2 already so if hes the only one who knows how to drive it there are not gonna be any more CGTs left on this planet in a few years.
I've heard this a few times but I'll say it again here CGT is perfect till the limit once you step 1 mm over it and you crash.

No a lot of cars are designed to start slipping a bit the Carrera GT just falls off a cliff. Actually it kind of pushes you over.
There was a video posted with a German speaking driver drifting the c-gt up a mountain road. It looks like he could handle the car when it is sliding around so how is that possible when you make claims that it is uncontrollable once you lose traction at either end? Would someone with more posting skills find that video and post it here? Thanks.
Actually search utube for "carrera gt drifting" and there were 2 videos : 1 of yellow Cgt at Leipzig track going through turn sideways, and another Forza2 video 2 minutes 25 sec long of the Gt being driven around a track doing all sorts of handling acobatics with part of the car going off the track onto the grass and the driver was still in control with no crashes! Of course I am only bringing this up as examples of driving skills that the true enthusiasts would like to master (and what better instrument to play than the C-GT instead of the other electronically aided ultra-cars).
The difference between Porsche products and Italian ones or other companies building exclusive products is Porsche tests their products and develop each model and each component to work best for their car (street or race model). Their brakes are tested before their specs are used in their applications, tires have N0,1,2,...X designations (after they've been tested). each component has been tested before use down to suspension parts and wheels, etc. The other companies just design their products and sells them to recoup their investments and let the customers test their products (even to the detriment of killing themselves when they exceed the limits (which are not defined by product testing as in the case for Porsche/Rohlr) as in the Vector WX kind of cars.
Lambos are getting better so if the new Murcie supposedly posted better lap times in the Stig's benchmarking then one just have to accept that fact. My personal choice if I were lucky enough to be able to have any car would still be the Porsche product over the others for the above reason of having a well developed product over any other quick new (if you can call slapping a few panels over a tube-frame chassis new) design with a monster engine.

thats right! laying the e-smack down...i like!
all that guy does is try to bash the CGT or any Porsche for that matter. its getting old. the CGT is a better car IMO than anything ferraris ever put out or will put out.
