Anyone catch this episode on BBC? I couldn't believe it matched the CGT's time. I never saw them do the testing on the CGT, was it a dry track (the murci had a "damp" track). I just can't believe this pig ran it as fast!

I saw the video of the black cgt with Clarkson track was dry, but not sure if it was the same day with The Stig..

If you saw the video in Japan on the track, with gt3, gallardo,997tt,elise,sti the Murci was killing them, but it broke down..so the TT won...LOL

The LP640 is significantly stiffer than first-gen Murcis... so I am not surprised that it can be more confidence inspiring to drive. I don't think the HP upgrade has as much to do with this improvement as the chassis upgrades and tuning.

Interesting note clarkson made, that this care is SCARY at the limit, the minute you hit the limit the car is completely off. to the point that he said you are scared of pushing it very hard.

 

The test of the CGT hasn't been done on wet track...while the time attack was a bit!
