I just went through this whole process last week. Had to pull down the connector under the dash to open the rear lid. I then hooked the jumper box to the two posts in the engine compartment and the car fired right up. Drove it to the dealer and they suggested a battery change. Total cost - labor, tax, battery - $987.00. My dealer was very cool and allowed me to hang out with the mechanic in the shop while they were working on the car. Took him three hours to do it but they charged me five hours (per the specified book time). I wasn't complaining since he was a very cool mechanic and explained alot of interesting things to me about the car. Also inspected everything under the car since it was in the air (battery is located in front of the right rear wheel). BTW - There is no way for us (the owners) to do this on our own. We need a tool or air gun powerful enough to remove the wheel nut (and then reinstall it with 407 ft lbs of torque!). ALOT of carbon fiber panels had to come off. Cables disconnected. All to get the battery out and a new one installed. Alot of money for a battery replacement but then again ... it's not a Honda!

The same thing happened to my friend and the battery would not hold a charge so it went to the dealer for a battery change

P should have a non electrical way to open the lid similar to the way Ferrari does it in their cars. That was a pain trying to squeeze under the dash to connect the battery booster. I was afraid of touching the wrong thing and shorting out the car.

And JBA, thanks for the offer. I think I have it all charged up and working good now.

THANKS!

I was thinking the same thing. How difficult would it be to put a small pull cord on the rear wall for the rear lid as well as one under the dash for the front? Ferraris have it on all their cars.

It was a real pain in the a** for me since my CGT was parked next to my other car in the garage and I could not open the door all the way to even get to the connector let alone connect it to that microscopic tab. And of course there was the matter of trying to hook the negative clip to the door jamb (which was also not readily accessible with the door only partially open).

PITA!

Im glad im not alone on this. I burned my face on the freaking light I had to bring under there too since you cant see a damn thing. I thought for sure I was going to spark a fire or a short on all those things I could have touched with the positive terminal..

Your right about that little microscopic tab. How rediculous. I repeat.. I WILL NOT LEAVE THE KEY IN THE IGNITION EVER AGAIN.. That's how I remind myself and may I suggest the same to all GT owners.
