I would actually feel more comfortable riding with Jay Leno then riding with 99% of the members here. He is a HUGE enthusiast and knows more about Porsche than most people on this forum will ever hope to know. I am sure he can drive pretty well.
I can't help but think that he jinxed himself..............talking about hitting this and hitting that right before he gets behind the drivers seat. Glad to see he and the car came out unscathed. Nevertheless.......loved the video.

Also, that is a pretty broad statement. There are numerous members on the board that know what they are talking about when it comes to Porsche criteria.

I am not criticizing Leno's driving ability or his familiarity with Porsche. I agree, Leno is a hardcore auto enthusiast. I am just glad to see he didn't hurt himself or damage the CGT.

Most or 99% of the members?
Actually, he's not into Porsches AT ALL (or Ferrari for that matter). He's constantly making fun of the air-cooled 911's sound and thinks the 356 looks like an upside down bathtub. The Carrera GT is his first, and only, Porsche.
Thank you.
I think after his spin in the CGT he should not be allowed to own one any more. He is about as far away from a Porsche guy as you can get...
I forgot more about Porsche cars than he will ever know..
Not a fan of the Two tone hairdo and the anoying vioce... Just me..

Porsches are different. These cars are built to be driven hard and they can take it when you drive them that way. And they've been like that since the beginning. With a rear-mounted, air-cooled four-cylinder opposed engine, and fully independent suspension, they were advanced from the start.
Early Porsches looked like upside down bathtubs, but they worked right and went like hell. There's a lot of German pride in their engineering. ... Precision is the German way.
