Like he said..its worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it...even on supras we have a few colors that can fetch 5-10k more just based on it being a rare color. So I have no problem seeing that a rare color CGT ( especially if it was a sought after color) would fetch 50k+ on top of what they are selling for.

 

The selling price of the Rosso Scuderia CGT also reflected its very low miles at the time of sale; sub 1K. Moreover it is very highly optioned (as far as CGTs go), one of the highest MSRPs I've seen.

Just get a "normal colored" CGT, go to a excellent paint shop and repaint it, it isn't that hard....

 

I saw the orange CGT advertised for $1,050,000 with 168 miles on it. It looks amazing but the price...............

 

Considering mileage, options and paint, price almost sounds cheap.

This was the same vehicle and ad that a few months back was asking in the 700s........with no takers. What are they thinking with this new asking price??

 

This is only GT painted in this color ,"arancia boralias", so it will be pretty easy to track it for the rest of its life, much like the Seinfeld cars. I've seen a "Pure Orange" GT before for regular price. Its very very hard to justify such a premium for just a color. I believe they've also made a couple "GLUT Orange" cars which is a Lamborghini color. Only this car has the pearl effect though.

 

More power to him if he gets anywhere near that price.

Might pull up the rest of the "normal" CGTs

 

At least he didn't screw up the whole "paint to sample" theme by having the wheels painted the same color as the car....

The rims on the red car are hideous. They mess up an otherwise gorgeous and thoroughly unique car.
