track day car comparos

the recent issue of autoweek got me thinking. which would you rather have if you had to spend your own $:

gt2 vs viper acr and lotus track car for under $200k

ferrari scud vs gt3 and viper and lotus for under $300k

i would take the cheaper combo vs the gt2 but the scud over the trio. what do others think?

ACR (TIE) GT2

Then everyone else. I'd really have a hard time choosing. I know how a 911 handles so I know I could rip it up in a GT2, I'd have to feel a Viper on track to see if it drives as good as it looks.

But you can only drive one on track at a time. I dont know if changing style and configurations that much would make you a better driver or worse. Though very interesting.

At least if you ball one up you can go and hop in another.

Yeah I guess, I have never been able to fit in a Lotus, so that's out for me anyways.

I have a red/black ACR on the way.I have reason to believe it will eat my gt3 for lunch at the track. Will be using it at PIR and Firebird Raceway alot.

The ACR will certainly KILL the GT3.

-600 hp vs 415
-only 100 lbs more weight max
-1000 lbs downforce

= ownage, you'll need a GT2 P-Car to keep up with that ACR.
