Bummer. I met that guy when he was taking delivery. Seemed like a really nice guy too... he was discussing what areas to cover with clearbra. :-(

i would be VERY upset, but i have a hard time feeling too much rage against the guy in the truck who ran into the back of a car that stalled in front of him at a light. once each vehicles momentum had started, it would have taken extremely quick reaction time (and probably brakes better than any truck is equipped) to stop that much weight in time. this accident was probably under 5 mph! imagine $90k worth of damage which will probably ruin the guy over a 5 mph accident caused 1/2 (or more) by driver error (the CGT's stalling).

"The worst part is to have an American body shop fix the car...Qualifications for CGT repairs please???"

West Coast Specialties is within a mile or two of where the accident occured. They do most of the Porsche repairs in town and are nothing short of fantastic. "IF" an American body shop is qualified, it would be them.

There are plenty of very good shops here in the U.S., if a CGT has a certain level of damage the car has to be put in a container and sent back to the factory for repair.
