Does anyone you know Club Race their GT3RS?

Im just trying to get a gauge for future competition...

If so, are you guys going stock setup or going all out 4 way adj shocks? Something in between? Anyone using a full cage setup yet?

If there is anyone with a 997 gt3 who does CR, I would like to hear from you as well...

if a stock class gt2 was competing, how do you think the results would come out given fairly equal drivers on a fairly tight course?

Sorry for all the questions, but this is open field for me...

I'd say you can do the shocks and cage.

But, there's this dude who races a GT2, and it's hot as heck. BUT, he's slower than...........

Race GT3RS

There will be 2 or 4 GT3RS's at the Porche Club race at Phoenix International Raceway March 7-8-9.
We are all running stock suspentions, full cages and all the necessary hardware for racing.

A well-driven 997 GT3 RS should beat a average-driven 996 GT2 on a short-to-intermediate track. Why race a 997 GT3 RS? Just buy a Cup Car or GTA car. You'll end up having no one to race with or will be grouped with GTC 3; GTC4 and GTA cars and have an inferior race car.

Thanks. I had gotten up to speed after two night practices and felt good about my opportunities in the race. Was gridded 3rd in class; 12th overall for the night race. Four of us missed the grid, not sure how, but we did. Started in the back and worked up through 10-15 cars in four laps. Was trying to get back to striking distance and hope for a caution (which was dropped when a 996 took it hard on the chin!) and have a shot to compete. 964 was somewhat agressive with their "inside line" at the hairpin (#4). Got on the outside and the 964 driver tracked out on me, forcing me off line. My car bottomed out and broke the header. Pretty much did me in unless we found the right replacement, which we didn't. Will be ready for Road Atlanta next month. Hope to see you there.

Last year it poured in the Enduro. Only like 15 cars ran the race out of probably 300 cars. Are you running the Cup or RS? You're gonna get so much freakin' attention in that RS. I remember our friend let us drive his RS down there last year. When we came back from lunch in that car, there were people standing in awe everywhere around that car. Now a racecar. You're gonna being popular!
