Who's got the brains at GIAC?
I've been asking simple straight-forward tuning questions that anybody with even minimal ECU tuning experience should be able to answer and yet I'm getting nothing. Worse, I get responses that indicate a real lack of knowledge.

Garrett and Andy have a lot of the brains over at GIAC. They work very hard on keeping the automotive industry up to date with the latest technology in ECU Tuning.
Call us if you have any questions, I can certainly get you in contact with them.

My specific questions were:
1) Have they dyno'd their system with the Cargraphic #6 and, if not, can they comment? The short answer turns out to be no.
2) What's the difference between the GT3 and GT3RS map? The short answer (that I got through Colin) is there is no difference, or at least none that they can tell.
I wanted to know about 2) because there was an Excellence article (from the issue w/ the GT3RS vs. GT3RSR a few months back) where they commented on the RS having a timing tweak to take advantage of the LWFW. They went on to comment on how it really made the RS motor come alive from 7500RPM onward, as comparted tot he GT3 that had reviewed earlier. If this is true or not is what I'm trying to confirm. Certainly, I can see how it could be true, at least in the lower gears where the load on the motor is lowest under WOT and the LWFW has a more measurable impact on the combined load than in the higher gears.
