If You Florida guys want to see a GT in person, Suncoast Porsche in Sarasota has one for sale. The car is a work of art. BTW they also have a GT3, black on the floor.

It is silver. They sent a invitation to a private showing tonight. In the invitation it says, " ... the brand new Carrera GT MSRP $448,300" I don't know if that means they will sell it at that price It sort of indicates that though.

Hey Larry,

Any interest in coming up to Suncoast for the tech session this Sunday. There will be a few of us there if you want to come out and put some faces with the screen handles.

What time will you guys be there? My car is there because of front brake failure. They are waiting for parts. I don't know the particulars as I have been in the Keys fishing but I will post when I talk to Herb. It is really odd as I have not tracked the car, I drive it as my everyday driver. It started making a grinding sound and would pulsate hard to the right when I stop.

Very odd Larry, sorry to hear about the brakes. Please let us know what happens. We are all going to try and show by 10.30am. Hopefully you can make it up.

It's an awesome car. I was at Suncoast with a friend of mine a few weeks back looking at the car. Ron let us get up close and personal with it, and I was very impressed with the build quality (when compared to another certain supercar). He even fired it up for us, and it sounds even better in person than in the videos.

Were any of you guys at Suncoast earlier today?

The GT3 was actualy in Atlas grey, Seal is no longer available. Gorgous color and a gorgous car... especialy with those matching wheels. I too spent more time checking out the GT3 than I did the CGT.

oops...i meant atlas gray. it was a very dark gray metallic.

by the way, did any of you make it to the tech thing at the dealership? i was with my friend in his M3 yesterday and we went by the dealership. soon after we got stopped at a light near a champagne 996 C2 and a silver 993 carrera S. after a few short runs we got stopped at another light and the guy in the 993 told us that they had just left the tech thing at the dealership. anyways that's how i found out about it. are either of those cars board members by any chance?
