Thanks.

Let me know how you like it on the track.

Some track video would be awesome showing the shift lever action if at all possible.

If not, not big deal...

Thx,
Norm

One year on, am wondering what your continued impression of this shifter is? I am considering it for track use. Could you please provide more info on what custom work was required?

I want to make sure that the mod does not require ANY CUTTING, DRILLING OR ANYTHING ELSE to the original car.

Also has the shift mechanism in anyway affected the longevity of the sequential mechanism of the original gearbox? My concern stems from the mechanism shifting the gears- it does not have the human touch and hence may be forcing shifts before the gears are actually synced and ready to engage hence causing excessive wear on the gearbox.

Your feedback is much appreciated....

Guys please do a search on Oakley Designs on the Pistonheads forum... this will lead you to other necessary threads. Suffice to say, the product seems interesting but I am not willing to take risks with whom I deal with, which is sad as Oakley seems to be onto a good thing.... you can find the links back to the other manufacturers who sell the item... in may make more sense to buy from them...
