Two GT3's in rain (GT3RS with Dymags...)

Our last track day was a bit wet one. Fortunately the track dried in the end. This time I was not driving due to brake problems...

But anyway decided to share some pics. Here's a couple of pics of my friend's 997 GT3 RS,

The Dymags are really light. And the full Cargraphic Stage 6 exhaust is...well it's too loud for the track staff

Also some rolling shots of another 6speed member masa^^'s 996 GT3 mk2 with Cargraphic mods,

More pics (high quality as well) can be found from the signature link as usual...

Yes the disks are a bit cracked - if not, you are not braking hard enough

The car was specced without PCCB's. Their advantage comes only from reduced weight and not braking performance. Most fast RS's I have seen are driven with steel brakes so no need to panic.

Of course now the owner has got himself a set of world's lightest wheels so I feel there's a lighter brake upgrade coming as well (MOVIT Ceramics!? ) Another thing is can the difference between lighter brakes be measured in anyway aside from "feeling"... But of course, isn't that famous owner's feeling all that counts!

Btw. About the Cargraphic full exhaust. As you know from the videos etc. it is either loud or even too loud

The wheels were ordered in those sizes and color straight from the factory from England, www.dymag.com

At that moment they did not have RS Green color ready, only Kawasaki Green so black was the way to go and indeed silver one's would look a bit stupid in this kind of car.

Too loud for the track, I had to de tune my system to be able to drive it on the track, swithed my EVO mufflers for the stock PSE mufflers and in normal mode no problems with being too loud.

Thanks for the pictures.
