How to remove GT3 front spoiler lip?

How do you remove the lower spoiler lip on the GT3 or RS? You know, the part that gets beat up. Looks like one screw on each end. Then, do you just yank it off?

A little please. Thanks.

after taking out the screws underneath, there are a series of snap clips that go from the spoiler into notches on the bumper portion of the airdam. These were fairly easy to unsnap when I replaced mine....I did have to use a small screwdriver on several. Installation is in reverse of course. Just take your time

Ditto. It's really very simple.

Yep ... and you'll soon find that you don't even need to remove the 2 screws first (because they've already fallen off).

Mondo its easy. Look in front of each front tire. Follow the lip with your hand and
where it ends under the fender there is ONE screw. Remove both screws. One in front of the left front and one for the right front. After removing both screws gently pull the lip out and away from the car. It will pull out of the slot that in the front fascia. Reverse for the new one. It really is the easies thing you can do just behind changing the front corner markers to clear. I pulled of both my front and rear bumpers to inspect stuff and the front lip is the easist thing to remove.

To change it once it got dinged up enough. Also if you want to load it on a trailer that won't clear it.

I've got no screws or bolts on mine ... I just slide it in from each side then push the middle ....
I never sow any screws for the 997 RS front lip ... any one did

They are black plastic fasteners/screws that come out relatively easily. They may have fallen out before you ever got to see them They are fairly unnecessary as mentioned.

Yeah. It's totally necessary to get in and out of a trailer. For sure. I really appreciate that Porsche made it so simple.
