LOL, this is great for GM because they didnt even use a pro racer to get the time, so I think they are keeping a spade in hand for the V-spec GT-R. This will get interesting.
Porsche is getting beat down. They are in a bad posititon right now. They'll have to grin and bear this for 6 years or so or make a return trip in the GT2.
BUT
The GT-R cant back up it's results, so my delusions are starting to come tru (cue 1,000 fanboys). Why did the GT-R go 5 seconds slower second time around at buttonwillow? Why does it now only trap 111, 114,115,116 mph? All the mules were trapping 118-121, now you cant even buy a 118. BWAHAHAHAHAHA
Nissan up to their old games again. And now that the magazine results that they bought have run out, we are starting to see the truth. Even with all the gadgets, the GT-R is still a DSG and a better set of tires just to keep up.
Hate to say it, but I told you so.

Watch the Cadillac CTS will set the new record soon, and the guys at GM will say:
"this is the same CTS (except for the Tube frame chassis, completely different
suspension, carbon brakes which we cant afford in Michigan and Oh the motor is
moved back 5" and lower 3 " in the chassis not to mention being hand assembled by a race factory in Phaffenhausen) that our customers can buy in ANY dealership accross the US!
