Talking Installed! Custom GMG bar and exhaust! (pics & vids)

Without further adieu...

Custom GMG World Challenge harness/roll bar

And a couple really terrible vids of my Cup style exhaust. Its extremely similar to the bullet muffler systems GMG ran on their older 996 Cups. The car is much louder in person. Please bare with the amateur filming.

From a dig

Fly-by 1

Fly-by 2

Fly-by 3

Fly-by 4 Sorry about the quality. The person filming accidentally zoomed in instead of out.

Ya, slight differences like attachment points and amount of mounting points.

LOL, unfortunately they came like that. I'm in the process of getting them painted or trading with someone who has a SY car.

thanks for the pics. the rear braces and connections looks like an afterthought for some reason but i do like the 6-point mount locations. makes it more solid. the crossbar to the shock tower mounts are removable eh? that is good. i had a very hard time putting back that carpet w/o removing some of the noise paddings off the carpet cover with the dasbar as theirs is not removable. it was a very tight squeeze between the bar and the back shelf. how's your view from the rearview mirror? any obstruction at all?

Nice spot! The rear kickers are actually a custom job done by GMG. They are an addition to their existing World Challenge bar. And yes all 'easily' removeable.

No obstruction, other than my beautiful (soon to be CF) wing!

Thanks for the replies and comments.

I wanted to point a few things:

1. This is our new design GT Cup Harness bar since our original design was knocked off.

2. The additional braces are for the the rear strut towers and come with a strut tower brace. All the original bars can be updated for additional safety.
Some sanctioning bodies want the bar attached to the rear strut braces for additional safety.

2a. The rear section is not an after thought in-fact it was designed this way so an existing customer who had the original GT harness bar could upgrade and add the additional bracing or if you were to purchase a new GT CUP bar you could later upgrade it. Completely modular and upgrade-able. It was also designed in a manner that required only modification to the rear carpet panel and not cutting of the actual car. The harness bar still remains completely bolt in.

3. The new bar offers even more leg room over the previous version.

4. All colors are available in powder coat.

5. If you have any more questions please feel free to email me direcly

We have roll bars in stock ready to ship.
