Navigation Retrofit

I just bought a used PCM 2.1 and Navigation for my car. The PCM install within 5 mins and everything is working correctly. However, I'm having trouble with the navigation unit. I believe the 997 S and GT3 (mine) uses the vertical mount navigation and my part numbers below should be for this. I cannot find a space to fit the unit! Am I suppose to remove the plastic cover in the center of the trunk to place the DVD drive?
Navigation drive 997.642.159.01
Bracket 997.642.231.00

I think i'm missing some hardware and maybe a longer MOST cable to get to the below. Anyone know the part numbers i need?

Some help would be great! Thanks!

Those are some good questions. I dont know of anyone doing a retrofit, much less a retrofit by themselves.
Good Luck

okay so if you only have the navigation module (dvd player), then all you need is just one MOST end. do you have one already?

Finish the story

Don't forget to let us know how everything works out. I am thinking of doing the same thing myself.

got it... btw, do you have the part number for the MOST cable? i don't think mine is correct (997.622.707.00 for non-bose, no CD) as it looks to short to reach down there.

any chance you have pics of your DIY for the navi unit install?
