ya, IMHO, they are faster than the dunlops and I just like them more. They DO wear out in a weekend though. That said, Im the ***** that throws away tires as soon as they are losing more than a second or two, so the fact that a dunlop may last longer doesnt really weigh on me too much. IIRC, the only faster tire than the pirelli is the CUP spec Michelin Slick and they are UBER expensive and last as long as the pirellis do. Hoosier is coming out with a slick (I have already seen them) and Ill be interested to see how it performs in comparison.

That's why I recomended mich. Or dunlops that's what I have found to be best tires out there...
Where have you found the best pricing for the Michelins and Dunlops, of if you don't routinely price shop, who are your suppliers?

thanks,

al

something to consider.....

if you are planning on trading out track tires with your street tires, you want to check hiegth of tire and circumfrance. otherwise you will be altering your set up if you have corner balanced your car.
I run R888's on my RS when I run on the track because they are a great grip, wear longer than the hoosiers.
On my cup I run both Michlens and Yoks.
