WTH??? We started off trying to talk about perfomance and now all of a sudden people are trying to flex muscle with guns. How childish is that mess. I cant blame JAE for standing his ground, but can we kill this (figuratively, lol) now?

As for you other two, your internet gang bang attitude is played out already, get on with what we were talking about.

This place is really taking a dive bomb. And I thought the fanboys were the worst part of it....................

Gentlemen please, agreed it's time to relax.
I have been misunderstood with one of my statements. I referred to someone else would bring a weapon to a run. I have NEVER stated anything about myself acting that way. I said in those conditions upon losing it is done and these type of individuals will not want to hear excuses because of conditions. I am not talking about myself nor am I in any way talking tough.
It has no place and serves no purpose.

So if there is a misunderstanding I will apologize.

Sir just a small point about me, after I used weapons for destructive purposes in service to the country I've NEVER want to have a weapon in my surroundings. My oldest son is becoming close to military service age and I fear for him. I do not want him to live m

Enough said on this. Lets talk cars.

It seems to me that the opposite side to my point is more entrenched in the theory and statistics to compare these to cars.
I believe in any day real world competition the M6 prevails over the GT3/RS.
I know that numbers have been quoted that favor the GT3/RS but I've never that play out in runs.
Oh BTW my wife does know how to shift extremely well. She has more skills than I. She is an accomplished pilot (I am not) and has sailed by herself from Ft. Lauderdale to Bimini. I'd never do it. So trust me guys she knows how to shift.

So 8 pages later and I do not believe we will determine the outcome.

Cheers,

Ranger

Meant to say , I do not want my son to live my hell.

Thanks Ranger, i really appreciate your explanation. Sorry for the misunderstanding. I hope your son doesn't have to go to what you have been to as well. And it's nice to know another military guy, my brother is currently serving right now. Anyway, let us get back on talking about cars, be safe bro.

Great, now who can we get to run them on vid. Maybe we can contact some folks on M5board and set up some runs.

The M5 boards films are notoriously BMW biased to the Nth degree. But if we get a few runs here and there, we can figure something out.

thats true...but some cars (i.e 997TT spanking the living hell out of an m6) just cant be smudged because the 997TT is a good amount faster.

I have the two cars but they are not stock which changes things. We are trying to prove stock to stock.
My GT3 is heavily modded and makes almost 400 rwhp and weighs 2,961 lbs. as per race track scales at Moroso Motorsport Park and that was with a half tank of fuel.
The M5 has every possible mod available. This translate to 478 rwhp. Now with the nitrous this is 600 rwhp.

Despite the mods I will work towards getting a rolling start run of a modded GT3 and a modded M5 (minus nitrous).

It is funny guys, my GT3 is heavily modded and it it VERY fast. When you figure 392 rwhp (exactly) and 2,961 lbs. that is fast.
In the next couple days it will happen.

Cheers guys,

Ranger

why don't you run your RS since it is stock against a stock M6/M5?
