The manual says change your oil every 12K miles. Is that what you do? As you can see from the responses everyone has a favorite and it's always interesting to hear other opinions. Keep an open mind and try not to be such a wise ***, this isn't the site for that crap.

Delvac is a diesel oil, and the guy who posted that you should use it on your Pcar is an A-hole.

Please do you research before you call someone an A-hole

You sound extremely stupid... seriously.

Delvac 5W40 is API SL rated (gasoline engine rating)
Delvac has higher ZDDP than the SM rated Mobil 1 0W40 (SM rating limits zddp due to emissions - makes cats last longer)
If I have to explain why higher ZDDP is good for the engine.... seriously, stop posting if you don't know.
Higher ash content also helps neutralize harmful acids also.
THe Delvc 5W40 used to sell as a Mobil 1 Truck and SUV gasoline oil and mobil decided to rebrand it and charge a little more.
Lots of TT guys use this oil.
