Anyone know about the Enzo market?

i've been told by two dealers recently that the selling prices of enzos are just under $1M now - 950, 975, etc. asking prices of course are all over the map. and LA is of course remains another planet entirely when it comes to exotic car pricing - you people slay me
the enzo selection process as i understood it from conversations with my dealer at the time was interesting. each dealer submitted a list of people they thought should be offered a car. the list went to italy, not FNA in NJ. in italy, some magical process occurred where they decided the 349 people. then an outcry went out and they upped it to 399.
owning an F40 and F50 previously definitely helped but was no guarantee.
there seem to be plenty for sale. if you're serious, you should consider working through your local authorized dealer - that way when the next enzo-type car comes out, you've got a leg up to get one of those.
doody.

Not trying to be rude, but I know you have to have these 2 specifications to purchase the vehicle.
1) Either have owned the F40/F50 in the past.
2) High status symbol, meaning not a doctor but CEO, Actor, etc

A guy here in town owns one and has not owned a F40/50 and is not high profile - just owns an industrial gasses supply company.

I guess what I meant was it isn't like he's Gerry Seinfeld or something... The guy does, however, deserve the car because he has one of the nicest collections of vintage race cars in the country and several old Ferraris and Jags. I guess he took the car to AZ because he could not drive it to close to it's potential here....
