18" Ultraleggerras on PCCB

I'm looking for some light track wheels for Hoosiers, and would rather get 18's OZ Ultraleggeras if they fit since they are lighter and come in 12" rears, as opposed to on 11" rears for the 19's.

I know some 18's fit on the PCCB and some don't.

Has anyone tried 18x8.5 and 18x12 OZ Ultraleggeras on PCCBs?

The are super light and stong, too. The price it good as well.

For a 997.

I have a Turbo, but I am asking here since there are likely more track guys here than on the turbo forum.

I assume the PCCBs are the same dimensions on all 997s? So if they fit on a 997 GT3 they would fit on a 997 turbo.

FYI:

The Ultraleggeras do not come in 18" for porsche, just 19" & 20".

The new Allegrrita's come in 18" for porsche and should be in stock in April.

Yep, I am aware of the new model coming.

But where the ultraleggaras not available in 18's before being replaced with this new model? I thought they were but could be wrong.

They do make them in 18's, check with tirerack. Not sure if they fit over the PCCB's but I do know that guys here run CCW, Fikse, and BBS in 18 with no problems. CCW is a great value for a truly good track wheel, I run them over my 355mm brembo kit (and there is room to spare for a 380mm kit, easy)

Damon:

How about giving OZ a push to make the new wheels in a 18 x 9 front with the correct offset of a 997S, GT3 etc.

If they did I am sure many more orders would come as a result.

Thanks.

The Ultraleggera is made in 19 and 20" only for Porsche. 18" sizes are available for other cars.

And, the 19" Ultraleggera will clear 355 and 380mm brakes (as tested with Brembo kits).
