Homecoming: '07 GT3RS
Homecoming: '07 GT3RS
Hello Friends,
Just wanted to announce myself, coming from the 997 forum over to this one. Never did I dream this would happen but fortune smiles down
Thanks to mooty from RL for the referral. Gary Q. from Carlsen is cool guy. Original owner did a fantastic job with specing this car and keeping it up.
Options include:
- PCCB
- Full leather with Orange deviating stitching throughout
- Ext color rear center console
- Rollbars
- Thick Sports Steering Wheel in Leather and deviating stitch (extra steering wheel)
- Clear film over the entire vehicle! (never seen that before)
- PCM Nav
- PCM Phone
- other stuff
It didn't have plates (not even temps) when it came, but I couldn't resist taking it out for a spin. This thing is absolutely incredible, and no way comparable to my 997S...completely different in every way. I'm not used to getting so much attention either while in a car; even the county law enforcement complimented the car and said he's always wanted to see one...that's another story
Anyway, no plates (pending) yet so it's homebound for now...
See you guys at the track this summer: Summit point, Glen, VIR on my agenda.
Take care,
Leonardo

Thanks Sharky and boochook. I don't see how anyone can drive this thing on a daily basis. I've always been a law-abiding citizen, but man, this thing make me feel like Dr. Jeckyll!
BTW - I've been checking out your site for some goodies

That's a great car you lucky son of a gun. I'd tell you to enjoy it, but I already know you will.

Cheers all.
Luck is right, JC919! Ironically, I stopped by Carlsen last September since I was in the area for business just to say hello to the Parts guys (bought posters from them of the GT3). I was eyeing the GT3's on the lot and was daydreaming how nice it would be to get into one of these. Man, oh man, how things turn out. This was beyond any expectations...so a dream come true...literally.

What do you think of the following plates? (I don't want to be offensive to any of my brothers and sisters if I they ever saw me in the church parking lot...)
ARS MAN (Seinfeld reference)
FAT ARS
PHT ARS
BIG HPS (play on Hips and Horsepower)
Yeah, silly things to think about when i'm trying to fall asleep knowing this thing is in the garage...
