Interesting offer, since I was looking at the possibilities. What do you think? Both have mods. GT-R approx. 600hp plus coilovers(4kmiles). GT-2 -GT700 plus suspension mods(10kmiles). Even trade.

No. Seek professional help for even thinking about it.

I would take the GT2. The '08 GT-R test drove didn't feel as refined and
sporty as the GT2. Plus I am not a fan of AWD on the track.

996 GT2 v GT-R

Not really surprised at the comments-especially on this section of the board. Tried to be objective and asked the same question on the other board in the Japanese car section and got the same results as here. Thanks for the input and guidance. How about a trade for the next gen GT3?

Yes, it's finally done after some legal wrangling. Great car and still love driving it but might be time to move on. The sentiment seems to be that it is a special car and that I should keep. Interesting.

Hopefully you are just having a momentary lapse of reason. But in case you still have doubts, my opinion would be a resounding no.
