2009 GT2 still a good buy?
2009 GT2 still a good buy?
Brand new, full CF interior, Sport adaptive seats, etc. etc.
$170k.
There's no doubt that the car is incredible, but is it too late given that the new GT3 will be on the streets very soon, or still worth it? I'm not comparing the 2 cars, but, the factory has stopped producing the GT2, facelifted 997s are on the road, and spy photos of the upcoming "998" are all over the internet.

Just my .02, but considering the small number made, the incredible performance, and a lower price, what's to think about. I guess you have to ask yourself, do I love the boost or not? GT3's are fine handling cars, but the GT2 handles as well or better, and has an extra 100+ HP kick in the pants. I know which one I would choose if I could afford it. Good luck.

That's a great price and you will love the car!
I can't be happier, my last car was a 6GT3, the one realy big problem with the GT2 is it's so fast you run a risk of getting arrested any time you get on it!!
most people can't believe they make street cars this fast!

Without a doubt a very good deal on a simply phenomenal and amazing car.
Not sure what the upcoming GT3 and/or face-lifted 997s have to do with one of the best P-cars ever made, the GT2...
It will be a while before we see the "998," although I'm pretty sure that's NOT what it's being called.

If the finances allow, buy it. I agree with Hiper, I had a Carrera S with adaptive sports seats and they were the most comfortable yet sporty feeling seat I have ever experienced. Best seats Porsche has ever made, you'd love them - not to even mention the GT2 itself!! The only other car I'd rather own is a CGT, but far less practical day-to-day.
